Business Recovery Professionals (Mauritius) Ltd is an association of professionals with an interest in restructuring and insolvency established to play a leadership role in corporate restructuring, business recovery and insolvency advisory in Mauritius. Business Recovery Professionals (Mauritius) Ltd was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act 2001 on 23 November 2018.
The goals of Business Recovery Professionals (Mauritius) Ltd are:
- To regroup professionals of various professional backgrounds and qualifications with a view to ensuring business efficacy in the Insolvency Profession, business restructuring;
- To promote the Practice of Insolvency, Turn Around and Business Restructuring and in that connection, to represent, foster and advance those practices in Mauritius;
- To undertake such activities as may from time to time be required by the Parent Association for accreditation purposes;
- To participate in Governmental, Non-Governmental Organisations and intergovernmental advisory groups and to liaise with these institutions on relevant issues;
- To represent in Mauritius and elsewhere, and to promote and protect the collective interests views and opinions of the Members, and stimulate interest in and to promote, support or express an analytical and critical view on any proposed statute, regulation or policies (national or international) affecting the interests of Insolvency, Turn Around and Business Restructuring Practitioners;
- To promote high standards of services and the recognition and the use of national and international standard of services.
