Tunde is the Managing Partner of Babington Ashaye & Co., one of the leading professional insolvency and restructuring firms in Nigeria. He has over 20 years experience in insolvency and restructuring and has handled over 250 insolvency and restructuring assignments to date. The firm handled the liquidation of Nigeria Airways and the privatization of all the Steel Rolling Mills in Nigeria through a guided liquidation option. Notable clients include the Federal Government of Nigeria, Bureau of Public Enterprises and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Mr. Ajayi has a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) and a Master's Degree (LLM) in Law from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He is also a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria.
