APDIR – Associação Portuguesa de Direito da Insolvência e Recuperação [Portuguese Association for Insolvency and Recovery Law] was created on 8th May, 2018.
The association’s purpose is to study and impart insolvency law, both on a national and international level, encouraging the pooling of knowledge and information, and enabling the creation of knowledge networks across between, namely, lawyers, scholars, magistrates, judicial administrators. In order to fulfill its purpose, the association will carry out all adequate and relevant activities, such as organizing congresses, symposiums and conferences, professional or academic training actions; editing papers, performing, supervising or taking part in research projects; as well as promoting or supporting the national and international broadcast of the legal science of company rehabilitation and insolvency.
APDIR’s membership is reserved, namely, to lawyers, accountants, judicial administrators or academics working on insolvency matters.
