Born and bred in France, Jean has acquired 12 years' experience on a national level, and with his team, is currently working on approximately 200 turnaround cases per year. Within the team, Jean specializes in cross-border insolvency situations. Having studied in Toulouse (southwest France) and Paris, he then went on to working for Air France, implementing all the legal aspects of the airline alliance Skyteam. He has stepped up the ladder by becoming an associate in an administration judiciaire firm, CBF. The firm, consisting of 20 employees and 4 offices across France including the Indian Ocean island of Reunion, works with businesses and organizations of all sizes, either as a court-appointed receiver or with self-referred businesses, to find solutions for financial or legal issues. CBF works with management to restructure both the operational and financial aspects of the business to avoid failure and to make it viable in the long term. CBF also negotiates with banks and creditors to restructure debts and payment schedule and develop new management strategies to avoid future issues.
