Clare Wee
Regional Head, Asia

As Regional Head for Asia, Clare leads all of the initiatives and activities of the Hub.  Prior to 2019, Clare was the former Head of the Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB).   She represented ADB on UNCITRAL’s Insolvency Working Group on the Legislative Guide on Insolvency Law and on World Bank’s Advisory Panel for Insolvency systems.  She initiated and was responsible for producing the first set of principles of insolvency law for Asia. She was part of the ADB team that developed the 1st Forum on Asian Insolvency Reform (FAIR) held in Bali, Indonesia, from 7-8 February 2001.  FAIR remains an important bi-annual meeting for legislators from Asia.

Jasbir Gill
Client and Projects Manager

As the Client and Projects Manager, Jasbir is the focal point for Asia Hub’s webinars, seminars and events, and INSOL’s member associations. Jasbir brings to INSOL over 25 years of legal and entrepreneurial experience in Singapore and Indonesia.

Grace Goh
Office Administrator

As the Asia Hub’s Office Administrator, Grace has over 30 years of administrative experience in Singapore.  She  handles all of the Asia Hub’s corporate filing requirements and other administrative matters. She also assists with the Asia Hub’s webinars and other events.

Adeline Chng
Accounts Officer

Adeline has over 20 years of  accounting experience and handles all of the Asia Hub’s accounts, and keeps the Asia Hub in compliance with applicable accounting requirements.

Shafeeqah Rafik
Digital Marketing

Shafeeqah Rafik is a recent RMIT University graduate (B.B.M) with a passion and interest in digital marketing. She handles all of the Asia Hub’s media and outreach activities.

Sean Lee
Academic & Research Officer

As Academic and Research Officer, Sean works on a variety of insolvency initiatives, both regional and international, for the Hub. He graduated from Columbia Law School with an LL.M. (Hons) and Yong Pung How School of Law, Singapore Management University (“SMU”) with an LL.B. (Magna Cum Laude). He was an Associate at WongPartnership’s Restructuring and Insolvency department. Previously, he was a researcher at SMU’s Centre for Commercial Law in Asia and contributed research to various academic articles on insolvency law, including the Guide on the Treatment of Insolvent Micro and Small Enterprises in Asia.

Prospective applicants may be interested to view the wrap-up interview with David Li and Richard Xu, former interns who completed a 2-year internship stint with Asia Hub in 2023, led by our research intern Jung Sangbum. David and Richard are alumni of the Singapore Management University and are now in practice building on their practical experience in the field of insolvency and restructuring.
